Just a fantasys of mine, I don't know :)
I've put quite some effort into it and I think it came out quite nicely. |

The time you spent on it shows through in all of the detail the picture has.
When I critique I try to find the thing in the picture that I believe would help the artist the most. I believe what will help you the most in pictures like this is a general overview of the humanoid form. Fortunately, I know just where to find one. [url]
Also, when drawing something like this, there's nothing wrong with using reference. Have a friend or take a picture of yourself (timer on cameras help) sitting there. If you don't have a nice lady friend to lie on your lap, you can fake that pose yourself in another picture. The idea is to get the general shape of the body when in that position and at that angle. After a lot of practice, you'll be able to create good looking, realistic poses without references pictures -- but even the best artists use them now and then, especially for more difficult poses. |
